Meet Joy Iyabo Ozigagun

Joy has been with Unique Community Services for eight years. She wanted to be a nurse and care for people since she was young. Joy enjoys supporting people with their preferred social and physical activities to meet their daily living.

Working as a support worker is the job is ideal for Joy. – “I’m happy when I know that I put a smile on the face of people I support and that I’ve cared for them and given them all they need.”

Joy uniquely supports service users; she provides personal care for the people we serve, makes them smile, listens to their needs, communicates with them, and spends quality time with them.

Joy says that Unique is an excellent company to work for and that she has a clear career path at Unique. And for her, it feels like they are one big happy family.

“It has been surreal”, she explains. “It’s incredible to work for Unique and with my team members. I’ve stayed with Unique for so many reasons. The organisation, communication, planning, and execution of plans are excellent.”
