Ahmed Hussain

Credit Controller at Unique Community Services

Ahmed works in the finance sector, mainly in the ER capacity.

Ahmed has chosen to work in the healthcare sector because it’s rewarding. He says that usually when you work in finance, it’s pretty much the same. But, when you know that your efforts are helping people out and helping the vulnerable, you feel that you’re making a difference.

Ahmed shared that when he started working for our company, he was pleasantly surprised by the approach of his teammates. Starting at a new company can be challenging – you need support and don’t understand everything.

However, he shares that every team member has helped support him. Our colleagues at Unique Community Service made sure that Ahmed felt comfortable knowing what he was doing, and even when unsure, Ahmed knew that he still had their support to fall back on.

– “Knowing that you can always fall back on your colleagues and not be scared of asking questions is one of the greatest feelings of having that safety net with your peers.”

Ahmed recommends joining our company as a service user or colleague to anyone, because of Unique’s very high standard of care.

– “The care is amazing, and at this company, they take you in as one of the family. They think of each service user as a family member, so you could say they treat them as one of their own. That’s how they view it. They will go beyond 100% than expected.”
